Quick and Easy Salmon Bites
Savory Air Fryer Salmon Bites
This is one of those recipes when you don't want to go out and buy groceries, but instead want to make something delicious using the ingredients you have in the pantry or perhaps some leftovers in the fridge. It's not only quick and easy, but it's also very inexpensive to make. I used canned salmon in this recipe, but you can also use fresh, cooked salmon. You can also replace the salmon with cooked cod or canned tuna, even. Enjoy it as an appetizer or add it to your salad.

Cooking Time:
I used canned Trader Joe's salmon and some leftover cooked rice. You can season it anyway you want, but I used Trader Joe's Salmon Rub spice mix, mayonnaise, green onions, and black pepper. Then I shaped them into small hamburger patty sizes and popped them in the air fryer for 20 minutes.
Step by Step Recipe Instruction Video:
Ingredients:
- 1 Trader Joe's canned salmon 14.75 oz (400g)
- 1 cup of cooked rice
- 3 pieces of spring onions
- 1.5 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Trader Joe's Salmon Rub
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
Steps to make it:
- Open the canned salmon and drain out the liquid well. Put the salmon in a mixing bowl and mash it. If you find salmon bone and skin, it's ok because they are all edible.
- Add cooked white rice.
- Chop up the spring onions and add to the mix.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Take about 2 tbsp of the mix and roll it into a ball in your hands and then press it between your hand to flatten it a little bit.
- Repeat this for the remainder of the mix. It should make about 15 or 16 small patties.
- Put them in the air fryer for about 20 minutes at 400° Fahrenheit (200°C).
