 Ingredients:

  • Mixed nuts – 1 ½ cups (≈180 g)
  • Dates (pitted/seeded) – 1 ½ cups (≈240 g)
  • Agave syrup (or honey) – 1 tbsp (15 mL / ≈20 g)
  • Dark chocolate chips – 1 ½ cups (≈270 g)

 Steps to make it:

  1. In a food processor, combine the nuts, dates, and agave syrup until they resemble small grains.
  2. Press the mixture onto a small glass dish. Press it down with a spatula very firmly.
  3. Chill the mixture in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  4. Take the mixture out of the glass dish carefully without breaking it.
  5. Cut the nut square in half. Then cut each half into 6 bars.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals.
  7. Dip each nut bar in the melted chocolate and chill in the fridge until the chocolate is solidified.
