Ingredients:
- 1kg (2 pounds) of pork ribs
- 80ml (1/3 cup) soy sauce
- 60ml (1/4 cup) gochujang (Korean chili paste)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons rice wine (mirin)
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Vegetable oil, for grilling
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps to make it:
- In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, gochujang, honey, brown sugar, rice wine, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame seeds, and chopped green onions. Mix well to create a marinade.
- Season the pork ribs with salt and pepper, then add them to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
- Remove the marinated pork ribs from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 15 minutes.
